Getting Started
How do I install xPostCopier? +
Visit the Chrome Web Store listing, click "Add to Chrome" and confirm the permissions. The extension icon will appear in your toolbar. Navigate to X.com to start using it.
What permissions does xPostCopier need? +
The extension requires: Access to x.com / twitter.com (to detect posts and inject copy buttons), Clipboard write (to place copied content), and optionally Tabs (for the screenshot feature). We request the minimum necessary permissions.
I installed it but I don't see the copy buttons on X.com +
Try the following: (1) Hard-refresh the X.com tab with Ctrl+Shift+R / Cmd+Shift+R. (2) Make sure you are logged in to X.com. (3) Disable other X.com extensions that may conflict. (4) Check that xPostCopier is enabled in chrome://extensions.
Using Core Features
How do I copy a post's full text? +
Hover over any post on X.com — a toolbar will appear. Click the 📋 Copy Text button. The full post text is now in your clipboard. For thread posts, it copies only the hovered post unless you use "Copy All".
How does the Screenshot feature work? +
Click the 🖼️ Screenshot button on any post. The extension captures a PNG of the post card (excluding the rest of the page) and places it directly in your clipboard. You can then paste it anywhere — Notion, Slack, Google Docs, etc. Requires Chrome with clipboard image write permission.
What does "Copy Everything" include? +
The structured clipboard block includes: author display name, @handle, post text, post URL, date, and a [Media:] section listing image/video/GIF counts. It's formatted for clean pasting into Notion, Docs or Markdown files.
Account & Billing
How do I manage my subscription? +
Your subscription is managed via Stripe. Click your avatar in the extension popup → Manage Account, or go directly to your Stripe billing portal. From there you can update payment info, cancel, or switch plans.
I logged in with Google but I still see the Trial badge +
Google login extends your trial by 7 extra days, but doesn't automatically upgrade you to Premium. To remove the badge entirely you need an active Premium subscription. The +7 days should appear within 30 seconds of signing in — if not, click "UPDATE" in the handle bar to force a sync.
