The short answer
There is no clipboard screen inside the X app or on x.com. Anything you copy from X — a link, tweet text, an image — lands in the clipboard of your operating system. To see it, you use your device's tools, not X's.
Clipboard on Android
On most Android phones the clipboard lives in the keyboard:
1. Tap any text field so the keyboard opens.
2. On Gboard: tap the clipboard icon in the toolbar (turn it on the first time). On Samsung Keyboard: tap the three dots → Clipboard.
3. You'll see recent items — including what you just copied from the X app. Tap one to paste it.
Note: Android clears most clipboard items after about an hour, and plain long-press → Paste always works even without the clipboard panel.
Clipboard on iPhone
iOS keeps exactly one clipboard item and has no built-in viewer. Long-press a text field and choose Paste to use the last thing you copied from X. Copy something else and the previous item is gone — which is exactly why heavy X users end up wanting a real clipboard history.
Clipboard on desktop (Windows & Mac)
On Windows, press Win+V — the clipboard history panel shows your recent copies (enable it on first use). On Mac, the system keeps one item (Cmd+V pastes it); a history needs a third-party manager.
